GDBspace, a Space Pharmaceuticals company specialized in computational methods for drug discovery, announces today a proof-of-concept collaboration with a leading pharmaceutical company to support them explore large databases and select compounds of interests.
In this collaboration, the pharmaceutical company employs GDBspace’s technology platform to (1) visually map and combine several large molecule libraries in silico, (2) generate “hits” by selecting representative molecules by cluster, and (3) further generate “leads” as well as (4) optimize “leads” in the proximity of the desired hits.
Dr. Sacha Javor, CTO at Space Pharmaceuticals, said: “We are excited to enter into this important collaboration. This collaboration provides a proof-of-concept to our technology – our technology can help pharmaceutical companies quickly predict a relevant selection of molecules, and can result in up to 10-times cost savings and significant time savings.”
